According to reports from Turkish media outlet Fotomac, Leeds United could be set to reignite interest in Besiktas winger Jeremain Lens at the end of the season.

The Dutchman has been given a new lease of life since his departure from Sunderland at the start of the season, scoring four times in 27 games for the Turkish side this season.

But the 31-year old is facing an uncertain future in Turkey, and could be set to be placed on the transfer list if he refuses to take a pay cut of around €650,000 across a three-year period.

This has opened the door for Leeds to step in, with Marcelo Bielsa's men reportedly scouting the winger as he scored two goals in Besiktas 3-2 win over Sarpsborg back in November, in the Europa League.

Most would argue, though, that regardless of which division Leeds find themselves in next season, then there are arguably better options out there, other than a 31-year old who hardly set the world alight during his last spell in England.

With that being said, here, we take a look at three alternatives Leeds must be considering instead of Lens in the summer...

Harry Wilson

Wilson has emerged as a transfer target for the Whites in recent times, and he would surely be a perfect signing for the Whites.

The Liverpool winger has been exceptional for Derby this season, scoring a total of 14 goals and producing four assists for the Rams.

He is a quick, direct winger who has an incredible left foot on him, and at the age of 22-years old, he would be a very good signing.

Ryan Kent

Kent is also said to be attracting the interest of Leeds, after a hugely impressive loan spell with Glasgow Rangers this term.

The Liverpool youngster has scored six goals and produced four assists for the Gers, and could be available for a loan deal regardless of what division Leeds find themselves in next season.

The 22-year old flattered to deceive whilst on loan with Barnsley and Bristol City in the Championship before, but after a string of impressive displays for Rangers, he has definitely gone from strength to strength since.

Ivan Cavaleiro

After a disappointing season for Wolves, Cavaleiro could well be on his way out of Molineux in the summer.

The Portuguese winger was influential in their promotion from the Championship last term, but has made just six league starts for Nuno Santo's men this time around.

The 25-year old was a target for Bielsa's men in January, and he could be an option that they should definitely re-explore.
