West Brom had a busy January as Slaven Bilic looked to reshape his squad following an alarming drop in form.

Prior to Saturday's 2-0 victory against Luton Town, the Baggies had gone seven games without a win in the Championship and that highlighted some clear issues with the squad.

So, the club moved to rectify that, with Kamil Grosicki and Callum Robinson providing more quality and depth in the final third, whilst Lee Peltier is an experienced addition as Albion look to secure promotion.

On the whole, it was a productive window for the league leaders and they will be pleased with the business done.

However, we look at THREE regrets they may have...

Missing out on Mislav Orsic

Albion were heavily linked with a move for the Dinamo Zagreb attacker and it was even reported that he was Bilic's top scorer.

And, he would've been a huge coup for the Baggies. Orsic has scored 11 goals in 14 league games and hit four in six in the Champions League group stage.

He would have been a real statement signing and could have inspired West Brom to promotion.

Not selling Nathan Ferguson

The academy graduate saw a deadline day switch to Premier League Crystal Palace fall through but Lee Peltier came in so Bilic has four full-backs as well as Ferguson.

Whilst having a talented player in the squad would normally be a positive, it has actually presented Bilic with a potential headache.

If the defender doesn't want to be at The Hawthorns he could be a negative influence in the dressing room and tough to manage, so Albion may wish the deal had just gone through.

No option on Callum Robinson deal

Finally, they may regret not including an option to buy on Robinson's deal that brought him to the club.

If he performs well in the coming months, there could be a lot of speculation about his future, be that talk of a return to the Blades or another club joining the race for the player.

That can be a distraction, something Albion would've avoided if they'd included a purchase option in the original offer.
