Nottingham Forest are setting the summer alight with their eye-catching transfer policy and there's nothing to suggest they're finished just yet.

Aitor Karanka made a relatively low-key start to life in charge at the City Ground last season, but the last six weeks have been anything but as he's captured some really big name players for the Reds.

Gil Dias and Joao Carvalho are two who should shine in the second tier, much like Ruben Neves did before them. A team consists of eleven players though, not two and Karanka will be acutely aware of balancing his squad.

He is still in the process of rebuilding and he'll be looking at shifting players out, as well as bringing them in. There will also be one eye on the type of player coming into the club, he'll need some Championship-ready players to fit in and around the marquee signings with their flair and unpredictability.

Here are five moves FLW thinks might happen in the coming weeks at Forest.

Pantilimon spent time on loan with Forest last season and he seems a natural fit for them going into the new campaign.

Nothing has been settled yet, but it is highly likely he'll be a feature there next season, if a deal can be agreed.

Grant has been going out on loan for a season or two now and it is unlikely he'll feature in Karanka's plans this time around.

The likelihood is another loan deal, but there's a chance he might just want a fresh start somewhere he's more appreciated. There's lots of League One interest, a level he could thrive in.

Sam Byram spent time on loan with Leeds, but he's a Championship-ready full back with lots of experience. His West Ham switch hasn't worked out, but he's still a very good player.

Not all of Forest's new signings will come from Portugal and, if they're to mount a serious challenge, they'll need players who know the level just as much as the big names.

Yates is another who has been out on loan twice recently, at Notts County and Scunthorpe. He's not likely to feature in the first team picture and would be suited to a move.

It would be likely a loan deal, Bolton Wanderers have shown interest and Forest would surely relish him getting second-tier football at no detriment to them.

Colback is widely expected to complete a Forest move any day soon, having formed a great partnership with Ben Watson last season.

The former Newcastle man wouldn't be a cheap option, but he will be eager to seize any chance at all of resurrecting his once-promising career.
