Garry Monk guided Birmingham City to survival on the final day of the Sky Bet Championship season, with the Blues surviving another relegation scare.

For the second year running, Birmingham found themselves in danger of dropping into League One, with Monk and his impressive coaching staff saving the club.

Monk will now be looking to build ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, with the hope of having his side challenging higher up the Championship table.

The ex-Swansea, Leeds and Middlesbrough boss will be looking to reshape his squad in the summer, with reports already suggesting that David Stockdale could be one man moved on this summer.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper has only been with Birmingham a year, and despite featuring heavily under Monk, he looks set to be moved on.

With that in mind, we take a look at THREE alternative goalkeepers Birmingham could turn to as they look to replace Stockdale…

Green is available on a free this summer after his release from Huddersfield Town.

The ex-England goalkeeper worked with Monk at Leeds, where the two enjoyed a good relationship.

Bringing Green to St Andrew’s could be a good short-term fix.

Henderson has been impressive for Shrewsbury Town in League One this season, with the Manchester United loanee enhancing his reputation.

The young goalkeeper could well be available again on-loan next season, which will alert Championship clubs.

If Birmingham are searching for a new goalkeeper, Henderson could be their man.

Wolves’ promotion to the Premier League could open the door for Ruddy to depart this summer.

If Nuno Santo targets a new goalkeeper, Ruddy could be on his way out of Molineux.

Birmingham could do far worse than bringing him on board.
