Leeds United have this weekend been linked with a move for Josh Brownhill, with the Bristol City midfielder seemingly on the radar of the Whites ahead of the summer.

According to the Sun (February 17th, page 60), Paul Heckingbottom is keen on Brownhill and could look to make a move for the midfielder during the summer transfer window.

Yesterday, Leeds and Bristol City played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Elland Road, with Heckingbottom having another chance to run the rule over Brownhill.

That contest saw Eunan O’Kane struggle in midfield for Leeds, with the Irishman failing to have an impact against a busy Bristol City side.

Here at FLW, we have moved to compare O’Kane’s stats and Brownhill’s stats, identifying whether the latter could be seen as a replacement at Elland Road.

Brownhill, 22, has three goals to his name this season, whilst £900k-rated O’Kane has failed to find the back of the net.

Both midfielders have registered three assists across the season, whilst there isn’t much between the two in other departments.

Brownhill averages more passes per game and key passes, whilst also wins more aerial duals than his rival.

However, O’Kane completes his passes at 78.3%, to Brownhill’s 76.8%, whilst the 27-year-old also averages more tackles per game.
