Bradford City have recently announced that they have parted company with Gary Bowyer after a poor run of recent results with the League Two side.

The Bantams are currently sat eighth in the fourth tier standings, and will be hoping they can find a suitable replacement at the earliest of opportunities.

Bradford were beaten 3-0 by Oldham Athletic on Saturday, which left them without a win in their last seven games in all competitions.

That poor run of results will be frustrating to take for the club's supporters, after they made a positive start to their first season back in League Two.

The Bantams were relegated from League One last season, and would have been hoping they could return to the third tier at the first time of asking.

It remains to be seen as to who will take charge of Bradford, but the club's supporters will be hoping a new manager can be appointed as soon as possible.

We take a look at THREE managers who Bradford City should be considering as Bowyer's replacement in the near future.

McPhillips has been out of work since a spell with League One side Blackpool came to an end, after he told the club that he had no intention of becoming their long-term manager.

The former Tangerines boss led the former Premier League side to a 10th place finish in League One last season, and he could be tempted by a return to management with Bradford this season.

He's likely to be a manager in-demand though, and Bradford shouldn't waste any time in attempting to secure his signature.

Warnock has previously resigned from his post with Cardiff City earlier this season, but could be tempted by one final job in management.

The 71-year-old has also revealed that he is retiring from all football at the end of this year's campaign, and a move to Bradford certainly shouldn't be ruled out.

He could be the ideal fit for Bradford City as well, as they look to win promotion back into League One. They need a manager that is going to come into the team and 'fire up' an underperforming group of players, and Warnock could certainly do that before he officially retires from management.

Evatt is currently in charge of Vanarama National League side Barrow and has been hugely impressive for much of this year's campaign.

Barrow are currently sat top of the National League table, and will be hoping that their manager can stick around for the rest of the season.

But Evatt's impressive work in the fifth tier won't have gone unnoticed either, and Bradford City should definitely be considering a manager of his quality, who could have a bright future in the game if his first full-time job in management is anything to go by.
