Phil Hay has offered some detail about the confrontation between Pablo Hernandez and Nathan Jones at the end of Leeds United’s draw with Luton Town.  

Leeds were frustrated by Jones’ side at Elland Road on Tuesday evening, with the Whites forced to settle for a point after a goal apiece from Harry Cornick and Stuart Dallas.

At the end of the game, Hernandez and Luton boss, Jones, came to blows, with the latter revealing in his post-match press conference that he had to take responsibility for the incident and had apologised for something he shouldn’t have said.

Now, The Athletic journalist Phil Hay has offered some insight into what was said, telling his own podcast that Jones called Hernandez a ‘Son of a b***h’ in Spanish.

As you might expect, this has aggravated the Leeds fans further, with many disappointed by Jones’ comments and taking to Twitter to issue their thoughts.
