Fulham have not had the best of seasons in the Sky Bet Championship.

In the bottom half of the table and staring down at the bottom three instead of up at the top six is not where a team only relegated from the Premier League not so long ago should really be.

Fulham have had a very mixed couple of seasons, but the acquisition of some players for huge Championship prices such as Ross McCormack have showed the London club's ambition, but unfortunately the transition into the league is something you feel Fulham still haven't fully adapted too.

Ross McCormack

The talismanic striker is a ridiculously good acquisition for any Championship side, which most are aware of after his exploits at Cardiff City, Leeds United and now Fulham.

His goalscoring you could say has kept Fulham afloat this year - his creation of chances, ability on the ball and leadership skills have been a positive in quite a negative season for the former Premier League club.

McCormack's move to Fulham was a controversial one, as he moved to London in a record transfer of up to £13 million.

His pedigree in front of goal is something never to be put into question - 40 goals in 84 games is nearly 1:2 goal to game ratio.

Premier League clubs have been looking at McCormack as he comes to the peak of his career. Fulham will do well to keep hold of McCormack after a poor season.

Moussa Dembélé

Dembele will be moving on this season from Fulham, something his agent has announced and the club really does understand.

Dembele is class. His technical ability is way above the Championship and, at such a young age, the Frenchman is reportedly wanted by PSG, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Enquiries about the youngster are coming in thick and fast. Can Fulham keep the youngster at the club? Probably not.

A player that can lead the line or play wide in a front three, the France youth international has pace to burn, skill in abundance, and an ability to get in behind the opposition defence.

Highly-rated in his homeland, Dembélé has great potential.

Konstantinos Mitroglou

Unfortunately, injuries limited his impact following his move to London, with the forward featuring just three times as Fulham were relegated.

Now established as Greece’s main striker, Mitroglou played a major role in their qualification for the 2014 World Cup Finals, with his three goals over two legs helping to see off Romania 4-2 in the play-offs.

He spent the 2014/15 season back on loan at Olympiakos, scoring 19 times, before joining Portuguese outfit SL Benfica on a similar deal for 2015/16.

Mitroglou has already expressed his need to move back to his home country, so a move outside England will be very likely this summer.
