Norwich City of the Sky Bet Championship have started the season very half-heartedly after their relegation from the Premier League.

Alex Neil's side currently sit in a mid-table 12th position with eight points from five games so far this campaign.

With the transfer window shut and no emergency loans anymore, supporters will be hoping the Canaries look at some of the free agents on offer to strengthen their push for promotion to the top-flight.

The Norfolk-based club have made just the five signings this summer, just a handful compared to Aston Villa and Newcastle United - who both suffered the same fate as Norwich as last season.

Their squad is still lacking though, and here are 3 free agents which Alex Neil should snap up soon......

Emmanuel Adebayor

Despite the arrival of 25 year-old Portuguese striker Nélson Oliveira on a four-year deal, Norwich still need an establishedgoalscoring striker if they want to challenge the top-six.

Former Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur forward Emmanuel Adebayor is currently a free agent after being released by Crystal Palace.

Adebayor is no stranger to finding the back of the net, being a consistent scorer in the top-flight for years and would do a decent job in the Championship for Norwich if they signed him.

José Enrique

José Enrique is a free agent after leaving Premier League giant Liverpool in the summer, and has experience of the second-tier to offer his services to as he helped with Newcastle United's instant return to the top-flight in the 2009/10 season.

Norwich City lack in the left-back department, with just Swedish Martin Olsson being the only recognised player in that position at Carrow Road.

Enrique knows how to get the job done and if need be can be pushed forward to a wing-back or left midfielder role, the versatile Spaniard would definitely be a useful acquirement if Alex Neil snapped him up.

Zakaria Labyad

The Canaries don't particularly need anymore strengthening in the attacking midfield role with Steven Naismith and summer arrival Alex Pritchard already in the ranks, but adding Labyad would do no harm.

For those of you who aren't aware of the Moroccan, Zakaria Labyad is a 23 year-old midfielder who most recently played in Portugal.

He did have a loan spell for the second part of last season at Fulham, but was restricted to just two appearances for the Craven Cottage club.

Norwich City should sign Zakaria Labyad because of his versatility and youth, he is able to play in both an attacking midfield role but isn't a strange to the wing either.

At just 23 years of age there is still room for development and could become a very useful asset for Alex Neil's team this season.

What are your thoughts Norwich fans, do you agree that Alex Neil should bring these free agents into the club? Who else should he be looking at?
