Bristol City have started the season fairly well so far, currently sitting in 6th with nine points from five games.

Supporters will be impressed of Lee Johnson's transfer business this summer, with the former Barnsley and Oldham Athletic boss getting his first chance to build his 'own' squad after joining Bristol City in February.

The Robins have brought in a couple of recognisable names to Ashton Gate, including attacking midfielder Lee Tomlin from AFC Bournemouth.

Loanee Tammy Abraham, an 18 year-old striker from Chelsea, has also been one of Johnson's marque acquirements this summer.

Despite their good transfer business, the Ashton Gate side could still bring in a few players who aren't currently tied to a club.

So here are THREE free agents Bristol City should snap up as soon as possible.....

Yun Suk-Young

Yun Suk-Youngss

The South Korean international was released by Sky Bet Championship side Queens Park Rangers during the summer, after seemingly becoming surplus to requirements at Loftus Road.

Suk-Young enjoyed a loan spell at Charlton Athletic for the second part of last season, where he made 9 appearances for the Addicks, although couldn't help them avoid relegation to League One.

Even if he was a back-up for Lee Johnson at left-back, the defender would still be a very solid signing. If Bristol City are aiming to challenge for promotion then they should offer Yun Suk-Young a one-year deal,

Charles N'Zogbia

n'zogbia

Charles N'Zogbia had a very lacklustre five years at Aston Villa, signing for them in the summer of 2011 from Wigan Athletic.

A number of injuries led the Frenchman to falling down the pecking order at Villa Park before being released following their relegation.

The 30-year-old has two caps for France to his name and would bring something different to Bristol City's squad this season if they were to sign him up.

N'Zogbia would offer pace and is versatile as he can play as an attacker, wide midfielder or even on the wing. His wages may be higher than what The Robins usually pay but it's a risk they should be willing to take if they are chasing for promotion.

Leon Osman

Leon OsmanLeon Osman

Osman had spent his entire career, spanning sixteen years, at Premier League side Everton before his contract expired earlier this summer.

Despite being 35- years-old, the midfielder would bring plenty of experience to the Bristol City team - which is rather young to be quite honest.

Leon Osman is more of a box-to-box midfielder, willing to chase back but of course has a sweet strike and knows where the back of the net is. With over 400 appearances for Everton, Osman scored over 50 goals.

Lee Johnson would welcome the experience he offers as the Bristol City manager looks to take his side into a top-half finish this season.
