If there's anything supporters at any club enjoy more than anything else, it's for a young player to come into the side and absolutely tear opposing teams apart.

We've seen the likes of Demarai Gray at Birmingham City, Kortney Hause at Wolves and James Tilley at Brighton come into the starting eleven and take their chance really well, forcing their way into their respective managers' plans.

But another way Football League sides go about their business is my following the progress of other youngsters at this level or below, and taking a chance on them whilst their still in their early days of development. This way, the transfer fee is much less than if they've made dozens of appearances for the first-team.

Take Marcus Rashford for example at Manchester United. This time last season, no-one knew who he was, but now, he's one of the worlds hottest prospects.

And one man that is looking to build somewhat of a new-look side is Wolves manager Walter Zenga. Financially supported by new Chinese investors, the Italian is looking to craft a side capable of challenging for promotion.

So with that in mind, here's THREE Football League prospects he should look to bring to Molineux...

Rico Henry

Rico Henry is a 19-year-old defender who plays for local rivals Walsall.

He was being chased by a number of clubs this summer, one thought to be Birmingham City, but no-one stumped up the cash to bring him to their side.

With young, English left-backs developing in such stark numbers, this man really should be on Zenga's hit-list. He's quick, loves to get forward and defensively solid too.

Ethan Empadu

This 15-year-old defender made his debut for Exeter City in their EFL Cup defeat to Brentford last Tuesday and went on to get rave reviews, despite his sides defeat.

He was the youngest player ever to feature for Exeter and following the game, he's been linked with just about every top team in the country.

But if Wolves really want to show their credentials, he's a player they should look to sign and fast-track into their first team.

Jack Storer

Jack Storer is a player that has burst onto the scenes at Birmingham City this summer. Throughout pre-season, the 18-year-old has shown veteran Clayton Donaldson how it's done, dispatching seven times as Gary Rowett gave him his chance to shine.

He started the Blues' cup game against Oxford United that ultimately ended in an extra-time defeat, but with Storer being hauled off in the 70th minute, some supporters felt he had the best chance of getting a goal for Rowett's side.

He could grow frustrated at the lack of first-team opportunities going forward and he's the sort of starlet Zenga should be moving for going forward.

Wolves fans, would you take any of these youngsters? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
