Arvin Appiah made his first appearance for UD Almeria at the weekend since arriving from Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest in the summer.

The 18-year-old signed for the Spanish Segunda side for a reported fee of £8m in the summer, after establishing himself as one of the brightest prospects in the EFL during his time at the City Ground.

Appiah is one of many young players to have come through the ranks at the Nigel Doughty Academy, and it looks as if the young forward has a bright future ahead of him for sure.

Brennan Johnson has also featured a few times this season, and with Joe Worrall and Matty Cash now starting to become hugely important players in the Reds' push for promotion, it remains to be seen who will be next to jump on the conveyor belt on Trentside.

Here, we take a look at three exciting young players that are surely bound to be on Lamouchi's first-team radar...

Alex Mighten

Mighten is undoubtedly one for the future, and the attacker came on the final 12 minutes of their Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal.

The young winger has already impressed on the international scene, scoring a hat-trick for the England under-18's against Australia last month.

The 17-year-old was linked with Manchester United last season, and is surely destined for bigger things.

Keith Asare

Asare is another talented player who Lamouchi's eyes should be on.

The powerful, versatile midfielder has been a regular for Forest's under-23 side this season, helping the development squad fight at the top end of the Professional Development League.

He signed his first professional contract with the Reds last season, and could be a really exciting player for Forest in the future.

Forest have so many options in midfield, but he possesses real physical prowess and power on the ball, so he could be an interesting option for the Frenchman in the future.

Tyrese Fornah

Fornah has recently been training with the first-team which suggests that he could be set for game-time in the future.

The midfielder is a really exciting defensive midfielder who came through the ranks at Brighton and Hove Albion, and has really took his game up a level or two since joining Forest.

Forest have the likes of John Bostock, Alfa Semedo, Samba Sow, Ben Watson and Brennan Johnson, all ahead of him in the pecking order, but if he keeps working hard, the sky is the limit for him.
