Watford are set for a very busy summer as they prepare for life back in the Championship, with Emmanuel Dennis one player expected to move on.

The 24-year-old was one of few positives for the Hornets as they were relegated from the Premier League, scoring ten goals and registering six assists in what was a miserable campaign.

Understandably, those numbers mean he has plenty of admirers in the top-flight, with West Ham and Crystal Palace believed to be among the interested clubs.

Therefore, a departure might be on the cards, and whilst it would be a blow, the funds from Dennis' sale could give Rob Edwards some more room to bring players in during the window.

And, here we look at THREE attacking players from the EFL that Edwards could look to bring to Vicarage Road to replace Dennis...

Joel Piroe

The forward has enjoyed a fantastic first year in English football after joining Swansea from PSV.

Piroe managed 22 goals in 45 games, which shows he is an excellent finisher, whilst his link up play and technical ability means he is a very good all-round striker.

Interest from the top-flight may make this deal difficult but the reality is that Swansea may need to cash in this summer, so if Watford act quickly it could be a realistic option.

Lucas Joao

This would be a relatively easy deal to do, as Joao is entering the final year of his contract at Reading and they are another club that may have to sell.

Whilst a serious injury restricted his appearances this season, Joao still managed ten goals in 24 games, to go with 19 in 39 the year before. So, he is pretty prolific at this level and has the physicality to lead the line well.

Viktor Gyokeres

The Coventry striker has enjoyed a real breakthrough year with the Sky Blues, hitting 17 goals for Mark Robins' side as they enjoyed a good season.

At 23, Gyokeres is only going to get better and he is someone that could potentially grow to play a part for Watford in the Premier League should they get back there.

As well as that, he has qualities that others in the squad lack with his strength and work rate.
