Leeds United continued their thoroughly impressive season last night, seeing off Reading with ease at the Madjeski in a 3-0 win.

In reality, the match was done and dusted by half-time with Mateusz Klich setting the tone, finding the net on the 14th minute, finishing cooly from Luke Ayling’s cutback.

Pablo Hernandez killed the game off on his own, first curling home a brilliant effort to make it 2-0 before adding a third two minutes before half-time time, with a brutal low finish.

It was a result that lifted the Whites back to the top of the table for the time being, with Norwich playing tonight, and will increase hopes of a promotion-winning season.

A large focus of the campaign has been Marcelo Bielsa’s willingness to utilise the Whites youth products, with Jamie Shackleton, Jack Clarke and Bailey Peacock-Farrell all being used frequently.

But it begs the question of who will come next?

Well, here are THREE emerging stars who will surely be part of the club’s first-team next season…

[snack_break title="Hugo Diaz"]

The 22-year-old has been threatening to break into the first team this season but has managed just one appearance.

It came in the club’s 3-1 loss to Preston North End back in October, but given his consistent performances in the under 23 side, it would be a surprise to not see him around the first-team.

He may have only arrived in January, but he has shown to have plenty of ability.

The nimble, mobile midfielder has been impressing Carlos Corberan since making the move and even though he is still just 17, Bielsa has very much carried that motto of ‘if you are good enough, you are old enough.’

[snack_break title="Jordan Stevens"]

The 18-year-old has been making a name for himself at the base of Corberan’s side this season.

He scored a fantastic goal for the side on Monday night but a brief cameo against Stoke City earlier in the season has been his only taste of first-team action.

But you expect he will get more next season.
