Wolverhampton Wanderers are preparing for their Premier League return, with Nuno Espirito Santo delivering promotion in his first year in English football.

Nuno’s side have stormed to promotion and the Sky Bet Championship title and are now looking to make a splash on their return to the top-flight.

As has been Wolves’ style over the last 18 months, Nuno will spend big and look to bring some high-profile names to Molineux over the course of the summer.

There is also every chance that Wolves could turn their attention back to the division they are leaving and raid some Championship clubs.

Molineux has been the home of the Championship’s best squad this season, but that isn’t to say that there aren’t some extremely talented individuals elsewhere in the division.

With that in mind, we take a look at THREE EFL stars that Wolves could make a move for over the course of the summer…

Maddison has been excellent for Norwich this season, providing goals and assists at Carrow Road.

The Premier League’s elite will be looking at the 21-year-old, but Wolves could be amongst those considering a move.

Nuno could offer Maddison regular football and a chance to shine

Fredericks has been key to Fulham’s promotion push this season, but if the Cottagers fall short in their quest for the top-flight, the right-back could very well be on his way out.

Nuno’s 3-4-3 system allows his wing-backs plenty of freedom and Fredericks will be a player who has been identified to fit into that system.

Nuno will want to bolster his central midfield options in the summer and find someone to partner Ruben Neves.

Bannan might not be the man to start every week, but the Sheffield Wednesday ace could be a good option to have within the squad.

The Scot has Premier League experience, as well as plenty of class.
