Once again Celtic have shown their dominance in Scottish football by storming to another title.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have made short work of the competition standing in their way, leaving Rangers and the rest of their rivals well behind during the 2017/18 campaign.

Celtic will want to stay ahead of their rivals next season, and Rodgers will surely be looking to improve his squad over the summer transfer window to do just that.

There is every chance that Celtic could be looking to the EFL this summer, after some extremely impressive individual performances over the course of the season.

The 2017/18 campaign has been a standout, particularly in the Championship, with so many individuals impressing.

Here at FLW, we take a look across the EFL, identifying THREE players that we believe Celtic need to be lining up a move for ahead of August 1st

Brentford’s central midfielder has been magnificent again this season, with Woods a key cog at Griffin Park.

Woods’ performances get better each year and with Brentford facing another year in the second-tier, he could well be lured out of the London club.

Johnstone is on-loan at Villa from Manchester United, with the goalkeeper in terrific form.

The 25-year-old has a big future ahead of him, with his reputation continuing to grow.

Villa want to re-sign him permanently, but Celtic could be a potential stumbling block should they make a move for the goalkeeper.

Marriott has been exceptional in League One this season, really impressing for Peterborough.

The 23-year-old has scored over 30 goals this season and looks like he could well be on the way out of the ABAX Stadium.

Celtic should consider a move for Marriott, who could prove to be just as lethal in Scottish football’s top-flight.
