As we enter the business end of the season, the pressure will be mounting on managers at the top and bottom of all divisions as the promotion and relegation situation becomes clearer.

Here though we take a look at three EFL managers who will be fearing the sack....

Middlesbrough have dropped into the relegation zone following a 1-0 defeat at the weekend, a result that now makes it nine matches without a win for Jonathan Woodgate's side and leaves them down in 22nd spot in the Championship, two points from safety.

With only eight wins all season, the clock is ticking for Woodgate if his debut season in management is not to end in relegation to the English third tier.

Bristol Rovers season looks to be heading towards mid season obscurity, after a defeat at the weekend for Ben Garner's side that leaves Rovers in 14th spot on 42 points.

Garner has been at the helm at the Memorial Stadium since December 2019 following the departure of Graham Coughlan, but with only one win in his 14 matches in charge, the pressure must be mounting on the 39-year-old in his first managerial post.

Southend United clocked up their sixth straight defeat at the weekend, heaping pressure on manager Sol Campbell, with his side rooted in the League One relegation zone, ten points adrift of Tranmere Rovers in 21st place.

Campbell has been at Roots Hall since October 2019, in what is his second managerial appointment following a nine month stint at Macclesfield Town, but his tenure on the East coast could be coming to an end unless he can perform a major turnaround in their final 10 matches.
