Darren Moore’s West Bromwich Albion are back on track in the Championship, on the back of three successive league victories.
The Baggies had gone four games without a win and had slipped out of the playoff places down to 7th in the Championship table, but after three wins in a row, Moore’s men are back up to 4th and look set on igniting yet another winning run.
Currently two points off the automatic promotion places, it’s clear that Albion need to strengthen in January if the Baggies are to launch yet another assault on the top two, which could mean a overhaul at The Hawthorns.
Sam Field is a player who has been unlucky this term – he’s looked impressive and promising in midfield when called upon but has ultimately been behind the likes of Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore and Chris Brunt in the pecking order this term.
Having made a few appearances here and there, making one just starting appearance in the league this term, it might be time for the 20-year old to depart West Brom in January, perhaps on a loan deal to get some regular game-time.
