Millwall travel to Derby this weekend aiming to continue their impressive run under new manager Gary Rowett.

The Lions have lost just one game in eight under Rowett and look like they could seriously pose a threat to the play-offs especially after beating sides such as Bristol City and Swansea away from home.

Rowett will be hoping he can get one over on his former side, and here are THREE Derby weaknesses that Millwall must exploit this weekend...

Weak attack

The Rams haven't scored too many this season, and really don't like they will at times. They can be a low scoring side and if Millwall sit in, it looks like it will be hard for Phillip Cocu's side to find a route to goal.

They seem to be inconsistent with their striker issues and who should start, and Millwall need to capitalise on this and make sure that they use their solid defensive structure to frustrate the Rams early on.

Vulnerable to the counter-attack

They look vulnerable to fast-attacks when teams decide to play on the break, and with Rowett in charge, Millwall have looked to do that against sides.

If they decide to stick with the five at the back formation with two wing-backs then there's no reason why the Lions can't create chances on the counter-attack especially with the way Derby's full-backs like to get forward when attacking. The space will be there for Millwall, they just have to use it.

Unsettled centre-back

Craig Forsyth is the current centre-back next to Curtis Davies, and this is quite interesting to see that's not his usual position. He has done okay, but Millwall have to target him and make sure any nerves are taken advantage of.

It should be an interesting battle between him and Tom Bradshaw, but Millwall have to make sure that the service keeps on coming for the Welsh forward.
