The season is fast coming to a close with Derby County just outside the play-off places.

Frank Lampard has just eight games left of the regular season to navigate through in what has been his maiden campaign as a first-team football manager.

The Rams’ boss has been at the helm since the summer, and with the first year of what he hopes will be many to come at the club, he will have one eye on next season.

And in doing that, he will be looking at players to move on or to keep ahead of the 2019/2020 campaign.

There will, of course, also be Derby stars who will be looking to get out of the club having been out of favour under the former Chelsea midfielder.

With that said, here are THREE Rams players who will surely look like they are headed for the exit door at Pride Park this summer.

Alex Pearce

The 30-year-old has only featured as a substitute for one minute this term for the Rams and has been on loan at Millwall since January.

Pearce has impressed in south London and could well look to push through a move away from the club to play regularly with the Lions' potential suitors for his signature next term.

Having hardly been in Lampard’s plans this term he is a player surely set to leave Pride Park.

Craig Bryson

The 32-year-old has played a decent part of Derby’s season this year, but he has been linked with a move away.

Bryson has started 21 matches and was linked with a move to SPFL side Hibernian in January.

A move back to his native Scotland could well be on the cards in the summer if the midfielder wants to head back home to wind down his career as he is out of contract come the summer.

George Evans

The 24-year-old has had a frustrating season for Derby, who has managed just six starts with two substitutes appearances.

Eight total games in the Championship is not what Evans would have wanted and could push for a move away to get more game time - be it on loan or permanently.
