Derby County have produced their fair share of talented players from their academy in recent years.

The likes of Jason Knight, Jayden Bogle and Max Bird have all gone on to play regular senior football this season for the Rams after impressing at youth level.

With Derby facing the possibility of economic sanctions in the not too distant future having being charged with breaching Financial Fair Play rules last month, they may be not be able to splash the cash in the summer transfer window.

Therefore, manager Phillip Cocu could be forced to look towards the club's youth players for inspiration next season.

Taking this into this consideration, here are THREE Derby wonderkids who we believe could make a breakthrough to the senior side during the 2020/21 campaign.

Jahmal Hector-Ingram

A stand-out performer for Derby's Under-23 side this season, Jahmal Hector-Ingram has set to the Premier League 2 alight with his displays in recent months.

Having scored nine goals in 15 appearances in this particular division, the forward could potentially step up to senior level.

Given that Chris Martin's contract at Pride Park is set to expire in the summer, Hector-Ingram could become a regular part of Derby's first-team set-up if the 31-year-old opts to leave Derby.

Louie Sibley

Following a number of impressive performances for the club's Under-23's, Louie Sibley was handed his first senior start in Derby's 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest earlier this season.

Yet despite delivering the goods on a consistent basis at youth level, the midfielder has failed to establish himself as a regular for Cocu's side.

Limited to just six appearances in all competitions, Sibley will be hoping to force his way into Cocu's plans for next season by achieving a great deal of success with the club's academy sides between now and May.

Henrich Ravas

Since joining the Rams in 2016, goalkeeper Henrich Ravas has been used exclusively at youth level by the club.

However, given that Ben Hamer is expected to return to Huddersfield Town in the summer following the expiry of his loan spell, Derby may be short of options in this particular position as they have yet to decide whether to extend Scott Carson's deal for another year.

With Kelle Roos struggling to deliver the goods on a consistent basis this season, it would not be at all surprising if Ravas is given the chance to impress during the 2020/21 campaign if he continues to make strides in terms of his development in the coming months.
