Leeds United are expected to be busy in the final few days of the transfer window, with Swansea's Daniel James their chief target.

However, even though The Sun claim they've lodged a bid that could reach £10m, it's by no means a certainty that he ends up at Elland Road.

Therefore, the club have to be working on alternatives because they need a new addition in the final third.

Jack Harrison hasn't made the impact many would've hoped since joining from Manchester City on loan in the summer, whilst Ezgjan Alioski is looking a lot better as a full-back.

Samuel Saiz left the club earlier this month, which in turn has pushed Pablo Hernandez centrally, so it's fair to say a winger is a priority before 11pm on Thursday.

And, here we look at THREE options they must consider if the deal for James cannot be finalised...

Ivan Cavaleiro

Leeds have been linked with the Wolves man and what a signing he would be.

Cavaleiro would provide pace, power and goals to this side whilst he is also superb technically.

It would be a very ambitious move but a marvellous deal if they could pull it off.

Ben Woodburn

Even though he struggled with Sheffield United, it's important to remember that Woodburn is a young player with plenty of potential.

He has the intelligence and technique to thrive in a Bielsa side and on loan would be a smart addition.

Jamal Lowe

Another player who has been linked with Leeds, Portsmouth's Lowe would add a lot to this side.

The Whites are in need of a direct, quick player and that's exactly what the 24-year-old brings and he can play from either flank.
