The Sky Bet League Two campaign has been nothing short of exhilarating this season with up to 12 teams still with a chance of becoming League One sides next year.
Just four points separate Accrington Stanley in fourth and Wimbledon in seventh. Accrington, the top of the chasing pack, could go within two points of Plymouth Argyle and Oxford United who occupy the final two automatic promotion places – on 65 points each.
Just one point behind Accrington are Portsmouth and Bristol Rovers who are both tied on 56 points after 34 games each. As a result, if they can muster up wins with their game in hand on Argyle and Oxford, they could go within 6 points of the top three.
However, with Portsmouth travelling to Accrington and Bristol Rovers hosting Wimbledon on Tuesday night, anything could happen at this stage of the season.
As the season reaches the business end of the campaign, Football League World Writer, Reece Chambers identifies THREE teams you should be looking out for to make a push for promotion…..
