Chelsea have had a season to forget so far, parting company with manager Jose Mourinho last month before interim boss Guus Hiddink admitted that the current Premier League champions are in a relegation battle.

Although the Blues sit 14th in the table, the team's fortunes have started to improve under the Dutchman, with the team unbeaten in the league since his appointment.

Having been at the helm at Stamford Bridge for over a month, Hiddink should have an idea which players he won't be needing for the remainder of the season.

Chelsea haven't done much in this transfer window so far, but multiple players have been linked with the club, while others are said to be keen to move on.

Bertrand Traore

Burkina Faso international Bertrand Traore has been linked with a few clubs in recent weeks.

Although the 20-year-old might be keen to stay in the top flight, a move to a second tier side challenging for promotion would be a beneficial move for him.

Traore, who had a loan with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem last season, is an attacking midfielder with a lethal shot from long range, who has excellent ball control, pace and passing skills, something which would be welcomed by most Championship clubs.

Traore has featured just once since Hiddink took over at Chelsea, which suggests his chances for the rest of the season could be limited, while his only league appearance came in the 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth at the start of December.

Jamal Blackman

Goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has been part of Chelsea's first team since 2012, but is still to make his senior debut for the club.

With the signing of Asmir Begovic in the summer, and Thibaut Courtois's recent return from a knee injury, it seems highly unlikely that the former England youth international will be involved again this campaign, and may be considering whether it's time to move on permanently, given the lack of chances he's had a Stamford Bridge so far.

The 22-year-old, who had a short loan spell with Middlesbrough last season, was a highly-rated youngster, helping Chelsea win the FA Youth Cup in 2012, but he needs to start playing first-team football if he wants to get back in consideration for England, particularly following the emergence of other young keepers like Jordan Pickford and Jack Butland.

With Pickford recently being recalled by Sunderland and Robert Green being linked with a move away from QPR, there are a few clubs that would be interested in bringing in a talented shot-stopper eager to prove he can play first-team football.

Patrick Bamford

Like Chelsea, Patrick Bamford has had difficult campaign, spending the majority of the campaign on the bench at Crystal Palace before asking for his loan with the Eagles to be cancelled, returning to his parent club last month.

The 22-year-old hasn't seen any action for Hiddink since returning to Stamford Bridge, resulting in the striker being linked with a move back to the Championship, where he scored 19 goals in 44 appearances for Middlesbrough last season.

Queens Park Rangers have been linked with the forward following the sale of Charlie Austin to Southampton at the weekend, but plenty of other teams in the Championship would surely be interested in a proven goalscorer.

Bamford signed a new three-year contract in the summer, pledging his long-term future to Chelsea, so it's unlikely that the Premier League side would be willing to sell, but a loan until the end of the season would certainly help a few sides in the division out.
