Charlton have had an excellent start to the season and find themselves challenging near the top end of the table after the first 11 games.

This has been a surprise to many, including their supporters, who would have thought that the side would have struggled a bit more after only just sealing promotion to the Championship last season.

Lee Bowyer has done a fantastic job since taking over as manager of the Addicks, and on Saturday he guided them to a 2-2 draw away at a strong Fulham.

Here are THREE decisions that Bowyer should ponder over the international break...

Stick with Macauley Bonne over Jonathan Leko?

This has been a big talking point in the Charlton fanbase especially after the start to the season that Leko had made since his loan move from Championship rivals, West Brom.

Bonne has been in great form in the last few weeks, though, and since Lyle Taylor picked up an injury, the Addicks needed a forward to step up, and the ex Leyton Orient striker has and superbly. Goals against Leeds and Fulham means Bowyer must be thinking to start him once more after the international break.

Three at the back moving forward?

They have played some excellent stuff this season, but in a variety of different formations. However, in recent times, the three at the back system has worked to perfection for Charlton and offers the side stability defensively whilst still having a platform to attack.

Bowyer will take it game by game, but this formation is sure to be used more frequently after the success against Leeds and Fulham.

Does Erhun Oztumer deserve a chance?

He's been on and off the bench in recent weeks, and perhaps it's time for Oztumer to try and stake his claim for a spot in the starting lineup.

With Jonny Williams out on international duty, it may be the perfect opportunity to bring in Oztumer as Williams may be exhausted from the run of games he's been on, as well as the worry that he might provoke an injury once more.

Oztumer is an exciting player, and Bowyer will know when the right time to utilise him will be.
