We may be mid-week but the East Midlands Derby defeat that Nottingham Forest endured at the weekend is still fresh in the mind as they lost to Derby County.

The Reds just didn't produce the levels of performance they can at the weekend and this week will surely be being used by Mark Warburton to ensure that doesn't happen again. Indeed, if Forest want to climb the table, they need to be more consistent with their displays and a win against Burton Albion really is a must this weekend in the second tier.

Thinking about team selection, then, we reckon it's time that a few changes are made to the side in a bid to freshen things up and get the side three points. With that in mind, here's the XI we think should represent the Reds come kick-off against the Brewers:

Three changes, then, have been made to the side from the loss against Derby with the changes spread through the side. In defence, we're bringing out Danny Fox who simply isn't a centre-half and replacing him with Joe Worrall who is a real talent.

In midfield, meanwhile, we're giving Kieran Dowell a rest after he was hooked on the hour mark against the Rams. Zach Clough is coming in, though, and so we wouldn't expect this change to impact the side badly as both players are top young talents.

Finally, going forwards Jason Cummings is coming out for Jamie Ward. Having Ward around is a real bonus for the Reds and he'll certainly get them putting in a shift, whilst it also gives the side a bit more balance.
