West Bromwich Albion's steady start to the Championship campaign continued with a 1-1 draw away at local rivals Birmingham City on Friday night.

The Baggies found themselves 1-0 down early on thanks to a Jota strike, and things could have been a lot worse if the Spaniard had converted his penalty just a minute after his first goal.

Matt Phillips' goal earned Darren Moore's men a point however, a result that sees them sit 8th in the Championship after three wins, two draws and two defeats.

As ever, games come thick and fast in the Championship, and the Baggies' next game arrives at the Hawthorns on Tuesday night, as Moore's men prepare to face in-form Bristol City.

It'll no doubt be a tough test for the West Midlands side, and here we take a look at the team that Moore should field for Tuesday night's clash against the Robins...

Johnstone has been a solid performer in the Baggies net this season, and will undoubtedly keep his place in the squad.

Dawson looks to be settled at West Brom again having handed in a transfer request in the summer, and has impressed upon his return to the first team.

Hegazy has struggled at times this season for the Baggies, but has done enough to keep his place in the first team following a decent performance on Friday night.

The first change that Moore should look to make is Tosin Adarabioyo in for Kyle Bartley.

Bartley didn't have the greatest of games on Friday night, and perhaps needs a break from the starting line-up to reignite his form in the long run.

After yet another goal and an overall impressive performance on Friday night, Phillips is one of West Brom's bright sparks going forward, and is probably the first name on every Baggies fans' teamsheet.

Livermore has made a decent start to the season, and his Premier League quality and experience should continue to prove vital for the West Midlands side's promotion hopes this season.

The second change Moore should look to make is Gareth Barry in for Chris Brunt.

The 37-year old came on as a late substitute for the Baggies on Friday, and they then looked a lot calmer in midfield.

The final change Moore should make is Kieran Gibbs in for Conor Townsend.

The Baggies were missing a bit of pace down the left hand side on Friday night, and Gibbs is that man to get down the line and put in some decent deliveries for the likes of Dwight Gayle to pounce on.

Barnes has been a fantastic player for Albion since his loan move from Leicester, and offers the Baggies creativity and skill in behind the strikers.

Rodriguez has been a steady player for Albion this year, and has the potential to form a lethal strike duo with the next man in the team...

There is no doubt that Gayle will be the man to score the goals for West Brom this year, and the Baggies' promotion push could well be spearheaded by the forward.
