Jack Clarke’s tough spell with Leeds United this season could see Tottenham recalling the winger in the winter window.
The 18-year-old rejoined the Whites on a season-long loan after completing a big-money switch to Spurs, however he has failed to replicate his form from the previous campaign this time out and he isn’t even making the squad right now.
Therefore, Football Insider have claimed that the Premier League side are going to recall Clarke unless his situation changes.
Yet, another temporary move away from Spurs seems inevitable as he is not going to have a chance of playing for the Londoners, although they would insist that he gets game time wherever he does go.
And, here we look at THREE Championship sides who could benefit from bringing in the teenager in during the New Year…
The Rams have endured a tough start to the season and they have scored just six goals so far.
Phillip Cocu likes to play with width and he gives those wide players a freedom to express themselves and that should suit a player like Clarke who has so much talent on the ball.
As well as that, the possession-based approach the Dutch coach favours will appeal to Spurs and this seems as though it could suit all parties.
Another club who play with an attacking approach are Bristol City and Lee Johnson has shown regularly over the years that he can nurture top youngsters, with Tammy Abraham the obvious example.
The Robins are also lacking real quality from out wide and Clarke could be the ideal player to give them more cutting edge in the final third.
Capable of playing down either flank, he would provide quality to service to the likes of Benik Afobe and Famara Diedhiou.
The Welsh side have enjoyed a brilliant start to the season and their attacking, stylish football has caught the eye under Steve Cooper.
He has a clear philosophy and way of playing and it appears as though Clarke would flourish in that environment.
Despite their excellent opening month, the Swans lack real depth, so this would be a real coup for the club as the Spurs youngster would give the side another dimension going forward and could help their unlikely promotion push.
