The transfer window is fast approaching, and many clubs across the EFL are preparing for what is bound to be a hectic winter period.
There are teams praying to keep hold of their key players, 15-goal stars being linked with dream moves to the Premier League – there are even some former players being linked with a shock move back to England.
The latter has recently been the case for Queens Park Rangers, with news surfacing that former star Adel Taarabt could be set for an unexpected move back to England.
The livewire midfielder, widely known for his time at Loftus Road as well as Tottenham Hotspur, has endured a turbulent time over in Portugal for Benfica, with reports suggesting that he could be set for a loan move back to England in January.
The 29-year old was instrumental for the R’s and played an exceptional role in their promotion to the Premier League back in 2010/11 – scoring 19 goals and producing 21 assists in 44 games.
Taarabt’s biggest problem has been his attitude, whereas there is no doubting his ability on the ball – so here, we take a look at three Championship clubs that should be eyeing up a move for the midfielder in January.
