It has been something a tough start to the 2021/22 season for Peterborough United.

Following their promotion from League One at the end of last season, Darren Ferguson's side are now 20th in the Championship table, with 15 points from their 16 league games so far.

Among the many Peterborough fans who will be hoping Posh push on from that and pull clear of the relegation zone, are a number of famous faces.

But do you know just which well known figures you might have a chance of spotting at London Road from time to time?

Here, we've taken a look at three celebrity followers of Peterborough United.

Mike Tyson

Arguably one of the most eye-catching club-celebrity connections anywhere in the football world, comes in the form of Mike Tyson's support for Peterborough United.

The former Heavyweight Champion of the World is considered a Posh fan, having appeared at a pre-season friendly with West Ham back in the summer of 2010.

While there, the Boxing legend was paraded on a pitch in a Peterborough shirt, and was also pictured with members of the club's playing squad.

Adrian Durham

Having been brought up in Peterborough, Durham is perhaps not surprisingly a fan of the Posh.

Now a regular on TalkSport's football coverage, the presenter began his career in the media reporting on the club.

While his role now sees him focus on plenty of other sides as well, Durham still remains a firm follower of Peterborough, and has written columns about the club for his current employer in the past.

Aston Merrygold

Admittedly, the selection of Aston Merrygold in a list of Peterborough United fans maybe something of a controversial one.

The singer, who shot to fame with JLS after the band was formed on X-Factor, has previously revealed that he is an Arsenal fan.

Even so, Merrygold was born in Peterborough, has posted pictures of him at Posh's London Road stadium on his Instagram account in the past, so we imagine they can count on his support as well.
