Making an excellent start to the summer transfer window at Bristol City, with the additions of Mark Sykes, Kal Naismith and Kane Wilson, Nigel Pearson will be hoping to continue using the free agent market to its full effect.

The Robins will also be hoping that the likes of Alex Scott, Han-Noah Massengo and Antoine Semenyo will all remain at Ashton Gate, with the trio succeeding in a personal sense last time out.

Here, we take a look at three Bristol City transfer dealings that Pearson should do between now and the opening day clash against Hull City...

Robert Snodgrass

Still pondering over fresh terms from Luton Town, it remains to be seen what the immediate future holds for Robert Snodgrass.

Offering experience and final-third quality, Snodgrass is also an excellent character to have around the football club and could be an excellent pick-up on a short-term contract.

Of course, he is likely to attract a lot of attention this summer, after what was an impressive stint with the Hatters as they managed to finish inside the play-offs.

Trying to strike a balance between talent and experience, Snodgrass is a player who would be able to bring both to Ashton Gate.

Tom Lawrence

Following Derby County's relegation to League One, it would appear that Tom Lawrence's future is away from Pride Park, with his current deal set to expire tomorrow.

There are contrasting reports regarding West Brom's interest in the creative force, with Bristol City an exciting possible destination.

The ambition shown thus far from Pearson and Co. makes the Bristol City project quite an appealing one, and if they are able to cater to his wage demands, then he would be an excellent pick-up.

Lawrence would also offer Pearson versatility, with derby's talismanic figure proving to be a threat on both wings and as a number 10 in recent seasons.

David Kasumu

In a similar position to Snodgrass, David Kasumu has been offered fresh terms by his current club MK Dons.

However, Bristol City could take advantage of his uncertain situation with the Dons, with the 22-year-old reportedly attracting lots of attention back at the start of summer.

An exciting midfield operator, with the potential to reach some monumental heights, Kasumu represents an option who could play a part now for the Robins, whilst he can also be deemed as a future option.

Another one who is likely to attract widespread attention this summer, Kasumu could be viewed as a replacement for if Scott or Massengo depart.
