Brentford are a club with ambitions beyond being in the second tier of English football, they have put together an exciting squad of players.

There-in lies the problem for a club of Brentford's stature, if they start doing well, teams that are considered bigger or from the division above come calling and may take away the better players within the squad.

There may well be some deserving players who should get there chance to play at the highest level, I'm sure if they could be prised away from Griffin Park there would be plenty of takers from the top-flight.

The Bees currently sit in tenth position in the Sky Bet Championship, having accumulated 40 points from 29 league games this season.

Which Brentford players deserve their chance to have a crack at the top division of English football? We here at Football League World have come up with THREE players we think deserve to be playing Premier League football.

Jake Bidwell

James Tarkowski may of got a lot of the headlines in the heart of the Brentford defense, but he was only one part of the rock solid Bees defence.

Jake Bidwell has played equally as well as his former team mate Tarkowski, and deserves just as much recognition as the now Burnley defender James Tarkowski.

Bidwell has played in 31 matches for Brentford, and scored once, he possesses all the skills needed to make the step up to the top-flight.

Alan Judge

Bees dangerman Alan Judge has been a great performer in The Championship for a few years now, but this season he has finally added the one thing that has been missing from his game......Goals!

Judge has been one of the standout players, not just for Brentford but in the whole league and has won many plaudits from around the Championship.

One of the most consistent performers in the league, he has now added that missing dimension to his game and now fully deserves to be playing against the elite players in England.

John Swift

The exciting winger for Brentford has become a deadly weapon in the league, with his quick, direct style of play.

He may have just scored four goals this term but he has been a potent weapon in supplying the ammunition for his team mates.

At just 20 years of age he has a very bright future ahead of him, and would be worth a chance from a top side, to really see what he can develop into, when his loan finishes he needs to get his chance at Premier League level.

Have your say.......What do you think about these players? Do they deserve a chance at top flight football? Should a Premier League side take a chance on them? Leave your thoughts in the box below!
