Brad Potts completed a move to Preston North End on Thursday evening, putting an end to a considerable amount of speculation about his future at Barnsley.
The move was confirmed on Barnsley’s official website and many supporters will be left hugely frustrated at the club’s decision to sell their star man.
Potts had been hugely impressive for the Tykes and already has six league goals and five assists to his name.

Barnsley are currently sat fourth in the League One table and Potts’ excellent run of form is one of the main reasons as to why Daniel Stendel’s side are challenging for an immediate return to the Championship.
The Barnsley boss will have to dip into the transfer market to find a suitable replacement for the 24-year-old if they are to have any chance of gaining promotion this season.
But who could Stendel be targeting as Potts’ replacement now that he has departed Oakwell?
