Wolverhampton Wanderers have been magnificent in the Sky Bet Championship this season, with a Premier League return looking likely for those at Molineux.

Of course, until promotion is secured, Nuno Espirito Santo and his side will not be getting ahead of themselves, but wild celebrations following a 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough on Good Friday indicated that they thought the job was almost done.

There will already be plans in place at Molineux ahead of the summer, with Wolves surely keen to progress even further, particularly if they are a Premier League outfit.

Nuno will want more of the same from his playing squad next season and will have to make some big decisions over the course of the summer, with the 2018/19 campaign shaping up into a big one for Wolves.

With that in mind, we take a look at THREE decisions facing Nuno that could define Wolves’ 2018/19 campaign…

Many at Molineux are far from convinced by Ruddy, despite the ex-England goalkeeper featuring regularly.

Nuno will face a number of key decisions in the summer, and consideration needs to be taken to whether Ruddy is the man to feature in goal for Wolves next season.

Morgan Gibbs-White is one of many youngsters currently at Molineux earning a big reputation.

Nuno has turned to some of them on the odd occasion this season, but they haven’t featured as regularly as the might’ve elsewhere.

In the summer, Nuno needs to decide whether the likes of Gibbs-White have a role to play at Molineux, or if his development is better served out on-loan.

Wolves’ 3-4-3 system has blown the majority of the Championship away this season, but if they are in the Premier League, Nuno might have to tinker with his formation.

Of course, Wolves have had success with 3-4-3 against top-flight opposition in the cup competitions this year, but next year could be different.

Nuno’s side will be coming up against better players next year more regularly, meaning Wolves might have to have a rethink with how they set up.
