Ian Holloway is in a luxurious position, with the Queens Park Rangers manager under limited pressure ahead of the run-in.

The Sky Bet Championship season is coming to a close, with QPR in a mid-table position and the threat of relegation not something that will concern Holloway in the coming weeks.

Instead, Holloway’s attention will slowly be beginning to turn to the summer and taking QPR forwards after another steady year of Championship action at Loftus Road.

Although QPR haven’t been troubled by the threat of relegation this season, Holloway’s side have hardly threatened to challenge the Championship’s top-six, with the squad at Loftus Road screaming mid-table.

Despite last season’s 53 points looking set to be bettered, there has been very little progression at Loftus Road, which Holloway will need to address.

With that in mind, we take a look at THREE decisions Holloway will be faced with that could define QPR’s 2018/19 campaign…

You can’t underestimate the importance of Freeman to QPR, with his form over the course of this season magnificent.

Freeman has been involved in plenty of goals from midfield, and in the summer, he is sure to attract interest from top Championship clubs and maybe even the Premier League.

Holloway needs to stand firm and make sure Freeman is still around next season.

There hasn’t been much improvement in the quality of player at Loftus Road over the last 12 months, which will be a concern for Holloway.

This summer must be different, with QPR needing a lot more quality to compete higher up the table.

The current crop of players has all the basics to compete, but some exciting additions could make a huge difference.

It is what every Championship club needs, but finding one will be Holloway’s key task this summer.

The quality of recruitment at Loftus Road needs to improve, with a prolific striker top of that list.

Matt Smith has done well this season, but if Holloway wants to compete higher up the table, he needs to find another man to spearhead the attack.
