3 bold Clement decisions that will shape Reading’s 2018/19 season



It has been a difficult season for Reading in the Sky Bet Championship, with Paul Clemet facing a sizeable task at the Madejski Stadium.

Last season Reading were a penalty shootout away from the Premier League under Jaap Stam, but have failed to have the same impact in the Championship this year, with relegation still a possibility.

That lack of impact has cost Stam his job at the Madejski, with Clement the man now at the helm and looking to guide Reading to safety during the Championship run-in.

Reading should have enough to survive the drop this season, but there is no doubt that Clement faces a huge job in rebuilding a side that have looked a shadow of their former self.

The summer will be big for Reading, which Clement will be well aware of.
