Arsenal are looking to end a 12-year stretch without a Premier League title this season, with Arsene Wenger's side sitting just three points behind league leaders Leicester City.

Despite being hampered by injury to a number of key players, the Gunners are serious title contenders, and have strengthened the squad this month with the addition of defensive midfielder Mohamed Elneny.

The London club have plenty of young players at the Emirates that haven't seen much action this season, who could be looking to head out on loan in the next week.

There are also a number of players due back from injury soon, including Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Francis Coquelin, so Arsenal could be willing to let some of their players move on.

Matt Macey

The 6'7" goalkeeper has spent the majority of his time with the club's Under-21 side since joining from Bristol Rovers in 2013, keeping three clean sheets in seven appearances this season.

The 21-year-old had a loan spell with Accrington Stanley last season, but otherwise hasn't seen any senior action since moving to the club, with Petr Cech and David Ospina both ahead of him in the pecking order.

Macey was linked with a number of other sides before moving to Arsenal, so is a name that will be familiar to clubs in the Championship, and he wouldn't be the only Arsenal keeper in the division, with Emiliano Martinez on loan at Wolves.

There have several keepers moving clubs during this window, which could give the young goalie a chance to establish himself as a starter and get some senior experience.

Alex Iwobi

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has been the subject of plenty of transfer speculation this month, with multiple Championship sides keen to take him on loan.

Birmingham, Reading and Nottingham Forest have all been linked with the winger, who has made seven first-team appearances this season, but with players returning from injury, his involvement for the rest of the campaign is likely to be limited.

The 19-year-old, who is the nephew of former Bolton Wanderers captain Jay-Jay Okocha, signed a long-term contract with Arsenal earlier this season, so it's unlikely the Gunners will be looking to sell, but giving him the chance to get more experience would benefit the club and the player.

Plenty of sides in the Championship could benefit from Iwobi's speed, movement and versatility, with the midfielder also able to play up front, although he has also lined up as a full-back.

Krystian Bielik

Arsenal signed promising Polish youngster Krystian Bielik in last year's January transfer window, but are keen to convert the midfielder into a centre-back.

The 18-year-old has featured regularly with the club's Under-21s this season, while also making his senior debut in the League Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.

While Arsenal have one of the strongest midfields in the Premier League, the team don't have much cover in defence, so getting Bielik some experience in the Championship makes a lot of sense.

Bielik has been dubbed the next Patrick Vieira, so is the kind of player that could help a lot of sides in the division.
