3 Arsenal players Sheffield United should sign in the emergency loan window

It has been something of a disappointing season so far for Sheffield United in League One, with the club failing to attain the same standard that they met last campaign.

After finishing fifth in the table in 2014-15 and being edged out by Swindon Town in the play-off semi-finals, the Blades are currently 11th in the division, five points and five positions off a place in the top six this time around.

However, in the next few weeks Nigel Adkins will have opportunities to add some quality to his side through the emergency loan window, the perfect chance for Football League clubs to bring in Premier League fringe players or youth products.

With Premier League title challengers Arsenal boasting both a a large seniro squad and one of the most renowned youth systems in the country, there are plenty of players in Arsene Wenger’s squad who would surely be keen to move temporarily to secure regular first-team football.

With United no doubt hoping to launch a sustained play-off push in the final months of the season, we at FLW have looked at three Gunners players that Adkins should look to sign in the emergency window…….
