Despite their ongoing transfer embargo, Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman has reiterated his desire to add a striker to his squad as they look for an end of season push towards the play-offs.
The Reds are longest unbeaten side in the country’s professional leagues at present and their current purple patch extends 14 games in all competitions, all the way back to a 2-1 reverse in the mid-November.
Last season Freedman signed Chuba Akpom from Premier League giants Arsenal for the last three months of the season, and the Forest boss has spoken of his solid relationship with the club, on the back of that very loan.
