It's been a turbulent season for Leeds United on and off the pitch, with the club changing manager early in the campaign while supporters campaign to oust owner Massimo Cellino.

However, current boss Steve Evans recently insisted that the side are still aiming to make the play-offs this year, despite sitting 14 points adrift of sixth-placed Derby County.

Leeds have won just once in their last nine outings in the Championship, but held high-flying Middlesbrough to a draw earlier this week, showing their potential to challenge the promotion-chasing sides in the division.

The club made a couple of additions in January, signing midfielder Toumani Diagouraga from Brentford, as well as Jack and Paul McKay from Doncaster.

Leeds are still a couple of players short of a push for the play-offs, but with the emergency loan window open again, there is a chance for the side to bring in players from the Premier League on a temporary basis.

Alex Iwobi

Young striker Alex Iwobi was linked with a loan move away from Arsenal in January, and with Danny Welbeck now back from injury, it looks increasingly likely that the Nigerian international will be playing away from the Emirates this season.

The 19-year-old has made four brief appearances in the Premier League, as well as a cameo in a Champions League fixture, but has mainly featured for the Under-21s side, scoring four goals in 13 appearances.

Iwobi can play on the wing as well as up front, but it's goals Leeds need, with the side having scored fewer times than Bolton Wanderers, who sit at the foot of the table.

The teenager lacks experience, but hasn't looked out of place when featuring for the Arsenal first team this season, so could be a star for a Championship side like Leeds, and will be keen to impress manager Arsene Wenger to play a greater first-team roll next year.

Serge Gnabry

German winger Serge Gnabry was meant to spend the season on loan with West Bromwich Albion, but was recalled by the Gunners last month after struggling for playing time under Tony Pulis.

Charlton Athletic and Brighton were both thought to be keen in taking the 20-year-old on loan for the rest of the campaign before last month's transfer deadline, but neither has managed to agree a deal so far, suggesting Gnabry is still available to a Championship side.

Gnabry is clearly desperate for playing time, but will struggle to feature in a midfield already including the likes of Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal.

The Germany Under-21 international, who has played just 12 minutes of Premier League football this season, can pass the ball around with ease, has a decent long-range shot and isn't averse to helping out at the back, which is something that could help Leeds keep possession and create more chances going forward.

Daniel Crowley

Then-Barnsley manager Lee Johnson described midfielder Daniel Crowley as the best 18-year-old he's ever seen with, during his loan spell with the League One side earlier this season.

The teenager made 13 appearances for the Tykes before being recalled in October, but is yet to feature for Arsenal's senior side this season, although he has made seven outings in the Under-21 Premier League and three appearances in the UEFA Youth League.

Crowley, who went on the pre-season tour of Singapore with the senior squad last summer, will surely be keen to go out on loan again for more first-team experience, and a move to the Championship would be the next logical step after a stint in League One.

Crowley is an attacking midfielder capable of playing the number 10 role, but he's also been used on the left and has plenty of technical ability, which could be invaluable to a side that have struggled to find the back of the net this season.
