It has been a month of turmoil at Derby County, with manager Paul Clement being relieved of his duties amid a wave of controversy surrounding the goals for the team and promotion targets.

They do however still sit fifth in the table, and possess an excellent squad which is more than capable of breaching the top two stronghold.

Seven games in the league without a win have done nothing to inspire this confidence, and with Darren Walsall taking over team affairs, he may well look at ways of improving the team's fortunes and turning around results over the next few weeks.

Part of this may be looking in to the January loan window, and more importantly, at Premier League teams who have players on the periphery of the squad.

One such team Derby County could take a look at, is Arsenal. They have a rich history of bringing through young players, and have a squad rich with talent.

Here, I take a look at THREE Arsenal players Derby County could sign on loan this February.......

Daniel Crowley

crowley

The 18-year-old spent time on loan with League One side Barnsley this season, with then manager Lee Johnson describing him as one of the best 18 year olds he had ever worked with.

Crowley was recalled though by Arsenal, but has yet to break into a Gunners team which is top heavy with midfield talent.

A loan move to Derby County, who try and play excellent football themselves, would suit him down to the ground.

Crowley is definitely a hot property in English football at the moment, representing his country at all levels up to under-19 already.

If Derby could prize Crowley away for a month or two, he could be just the boost the flailing Rams need as their promotion charge is stalling.

Serge Gnabry

The winger had a loan spell with West Brom cut short this season after struggling for fitness and minutes on the pitch, and is widely expected to move on during the loan window.

Gnabry has undoubted quality, and is lightning quick, something which would suit Derby down the ground with the way they play.

Gnabry himself would no doubt love the chance to go out and get some games.

A year in the wilderness is far too long for a player of his quality, and he could definitely add goals and assists to Derby as they attempt to get out of their recent lull in form.

Krystian Bielik

Krystian Bielik

The young Polish midfielder has yet to make an impact on the Arsenal first team, but expectations are high for the 18-year-old at the Emirates.

Signed in a deal last summer from Legia Warsaw, Bielik has yet to make a league appearance for the Gunners, with his only appearance coming in a 3-0 defeat away to Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup this season.

Bielik may want to go and build his confidence and knowledge of the English game down in the Championship, and with Derby chairman Mel Morris seemingly wanting to develop young players, Bielik could be a perfect fit at the iPro Stadium if used correctly.
