Even though Bristol City have endured a torrid second half to the season, many Premier League clubs will have taken a keen interest in several of their players.

The Robins were fantastic in the first part of the campaign and grabbed national headlines when they beat Manchester United in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

That continued after two excellent performances against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in the semi-final too.

So, despite failing to make the play-offs, top tier clubs will be interested in many of Lee Johnson's squad, including left-back Joe Bryan.

The 24-year old has been a key member of the squad and has impressed with his attacking instincts and ability on the ball.

And, here at FLW we think he would be an ideal signing for Everton.

Whilst Leighton Baines is still a good operator in the Premier League they have little cover behind him and given he is now 33-years old it's vital they bring in solid competition.

As our graphic shows, Bryan would be that man thanks to his all-round contributions. He is productive going forward, tidy on the ball and competitive.

Meanwhile, his game would also benefit from working with someone like Baines who has enjoyed a fantastic career in the Premier League.

Ultimately, even though Bristol City's dream of Premier League football next season is over, it may not be for certain players and they could face a battle to keep Bryan at Ashton Gate.
