Bournemouth are a club who look to be heading in the right direction under the management of Scott Parker and the challenge now for the Cherries will be to maintain their momentum.

They recently suffered their first defeat of their Sky Bet Championship campaign to Preston North End at the Vitality Stadium but came roaring back to form at the weekend as they beat Swansea City 4-0 on home turf.

Parker is really building something special on the South Coast and will be hopeful of leading his side to promotion back to the top flight in what is their second season away from the Premier League.

The club have had plenty of fine players within their ranks in the past and certainly have a few nowadays.

With that in mind, here we have come up with a combined AFC Bournemouth XI from the last five years.

Aaron Ramsdale takes his place between the sticks for the Cherries in this team, with the young keeper having performed superbly after breaking into the first team on the South Coast.

Adam Smith and Charlie Daniels take their places at right and left back respectively, with both players having been reliable over the past five years.

Steve Cook is partnered at the heart of the backline by Nathan Ake, with the latter of the two having proved to have been a great addition from Chelsea before he eventually left the Cherries to join Manchester City.

In midfield, Jefferson Lerma takes up the holding role, with the Columbian proving to be a fine addition for the club.

The tenacious ball winner compliments his midfield teammates in Harry Arter and Lewis Cook well, with the pair offering a great creative spark from the centre of the park for the club during recent years.

Up top we have gone all out attack, with Callum Wilson and Josh King partnering the man of the moment, Dominic Solanke, with the trio boasting a collective 155 goals between them for the club.
