Norwich are near enough in pole position to gain promotion back to the Premier League.
The Canaries have had a great run of form in the first half of the season and will be looking to secure an automatic promotion spot.
Despite this, there is a lot of work to do, and Daniel Farke may look to add a few players to his squad in the January transfer window.
The Norwich squad has often been criticised for their inability to defend. Although they have won many games, some in dramatic circumstances, they have had to rely on late goals from the attackers.
Farke will look to improve his defence, but to do that, he may have to sell some of the fringe players to raise some money.
Here, we look at two players we think could realistically leave the club by the end of the January transfer window, due to a lack of game time and also to raise money.
Do you agree, or can you see any other players being axed in the month of January? Let us know in the comments below if so.
Ivo Pinto has been a great servant at Carrow Road over the years but the arrival of Felix Passlack and form of formidable youngster Max Aarons has meant Pinto has seen little first-team action this season.
Now 29, the Portuguese full-back may look to move on this month and Daniel Farke will not stop this from happening, with Pinto’s wages presumably higher than some. He provides cover but is he happy with that?
Marshall has Championship quality but hasn’t found it easy at Norwich.
You get the feeling he could be good for the right side – look at his time at Millwall – and maybe a loan deal for him wouldn’t be such a bad thing in the coming weeks.
