According to Turkish newspaper, Hurriyet, Jean Michael Seri is expected to return to Fulham in January after an unsuccessful loan spell at Galatasaray.

The midfielder joined the Turkish side in the summer but he's been unable to make any real impact at the club. It means that manager of Galatasaray, Fatih Terim, is set to send him back to the London club.

This could be seen as a welcome boost for the Cottagers, who didn't get the best out of the highly-rated midfielder during their time in the Premier League.

Seri hasn't had the best couple of years in terms of his footballing career, and it's doubtful whether Fulham would want to keep him around at Craven Cottage for the second-half of the season.

Scott Parker would have a big decision make if he was to return, and in Fulham's current poor run of form, the Cottagers boss may well be delighted to have another midfielder at his disposal.

The Verdict

It's an interesting one, and a move that could actually work out quite well for both Fulham and the player. If they look to sell him, it can get money/wage off the Championship side's books and if they look to keep him they may well find a player who is very capable at this level.

Seri never quite hit it off during his time at the club, and in the Premier League he looked very much out of his depth. If he's to perform in West London, he needs to put in the same effort as others around him.

It'll be a speculative January for the player, and Fulham must do what's best for the individual.
