West Bromwich Albion will be desperate to get back to winning ways in the Sky Bet Championship tonight, as they prepare to travel to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City.

The Baggies looked to have a turned a corner under James Shan, winning their previous three league games under the caretaker manager.

But their bid for an unlikely automatic promotion push took a major blow at the weekend, as they were fell to a 2-0 defeat against Millwall away from home.

Tonight, they face a Bristol City side that will also be hurting after their own disappointing result at the weekend - Lee Johnson's men were denied an invaluable three points right at the death against Wigan Athletic, thanks to a late Nathan Byrne strike.

The weekend results leave Albion sitting seven points off the top two in 4th spot, whilst the Robins currently occupy the final play-off spots, sitting two points clear of Derby County.

Here, we take a look at the West Brom starting line-up that Shan should field tonight...

It was a weekend to forget for regular centre-half Ahmed Hegazi on Saturday afternoon - the Egyptian scored an own-goal and picked up a red card, so will be missing from tonight's clash.

Craig Dawson is set to be back available after missing out at the weekend through illness, so he should come straight back in for Hegazi.

With tonight's clash being their second in a three-game week, Shan may look to rotate his squad in preparation for Saturday's clash with Preston North End.

Kieran Gibbs may well replace Conor Townsend at left-back, and Jacob Murphy could come in for Hal Robson-Kanu who put in a below-par performance at the weekend.

It is still a huge game for the Baggies tonight though, so you would imagine that there won't be too many wholesale changes when the line-up is announced.
