Huddersfield Town will be seeking to build upon their recent upturn in form this coming Sunday as they play host to Blackpool in the Sky Bet Championship.

Carlos Corban's side head into the game at the John Smith's Stadium off the back of having picked up five points from their last three league matches, in a run which included a welcome victory over Bristol City and draws against Barnsley and Coventry City respectively.

The Terriers are now in a position where they could move into the play-off places if other results go their way across the division on Boxing Day.

They face a Blackpool side who have been struggling of late, with the Seasiders having only won once in their last six games as they seek to establish themselves as a second tier outfit once more following their promotion from League One last season.

Here, we take you through our predicted Huddersfield Town starting eleven to face Blackpool this weekend.

Lee Nicholls will continue between the sticks for the Terriers as he seeks to keep what would only be his ninth clean sheet in the league this season.

Corberan will keep faith with the same back three that played against Bristol City, with Levi Colwill, Tom Lees and Matty Pearson looking to keep things tight.

That therefore means that Harry Toffolo and Sorba Thomas will once again act as the attacking wing backs either side of the central midfield pairing of Scott High and Lewis O'Brien.

Up top Danny Ward should be supported by the likes of Danel Sinani and Duane Holmes, with the duo set to keep Jordan Rhodes and Josh Koroma on the bench.

In other news, the Terriers could soon have Pipa back available for selection, with the defender having returned to training recently following his hip injury.
