Norwich City star Teemu Pukki has insisted that he is happy at Carrow Road despite interest from Galatasaray, according to reports from the Eastern Daily Press via Finnish newspaper Hufvudstadsbladet.

The 28-year old's prolific form for Norwich and the Finland national team has attracted interest from the Turkish club, after netting 13 goals in 19 appearances for club and country this term.

But the forward, whose goals have spearheaded Daniel Farke's Canaries to the top of the Championship, has reiterated that he is loving life at Carrow Road.

"It is obviously flattering, but at the same time I know that rumours always circulate - most do not match,” Pukki said.

“(How much would you be interested on a possible move to Istanbul?) Not so badly - me and my family are enjoying ourselves very much in Norwich.”

Pukki's most recent strikes for City, a brace against Millwall, secured a breathtaking win for Farke's men, and they currently sit at the top of the league three points clear of the play-off places.

The Verdict

This is huge news for Norwich - Gala's interest in Pukki was very strong, especially after reports that their assistant manager Hasan Şaş was reportedly at Carrow Road to watch the Millwall game. But his recent interview has seemingly put those rumours to bed, and it now looks very unlikely that he will leave Norfolk this season.
