After their 1-0 loss to Sheffield United before the international break, Leeds United will have been desperate for a good day last Saturday, and boy did they get it.

They were given a huge boost in their hunt for automatic promotion last weekend a 3-2 win against Millwall saw them jump back into the top two.

With Sheffield United losing by the same scoreline against play-off hopefuls it was a day that marked just the latest significant shake up in another crazy Championship season.

Still, just two points separate the sides heading into the final seven matches of the season but it appears that a few eyes have already began to look to the summer.

On Monday, the Whites were linked by the Times with a summer move for Portsmouth defender Matt Clarke, with the Pompey man priced at around £4million.

With this latest rumour, then, how will one of Bielsa’s star defender’s, Liam Cooper, be feeling?

He will be nervous without a doubt.

Clarke is one of the EFL’s most highly rated defensive talents and at 22, is five years younger than Cooper so could be viewed as much more long-term venture.

Cooper has had an excellent season, but football is a brutal world and things can change very quickly.
