West Brom are set for a busy end to the transfer window, with a lot more activity expected before the deadline.

Darren Moore has already made some moves in the market, with the likes of Kyle Bartley, Sam Johnstone and Harvey Barnes arriving at The Hawthorns.

However, the rookie boss has also had to contend with the departures of senior players such as Jonny Evans and Ben Foster. Meanwhile, Craig Dawson and Salomon Rondon are two other key men who could be set for moves back to the Premier League.

Therefore, Moore will be targeting new faces as he looks to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion this season.

And, here we look at two deals he should look to complete this week, so they can be involved for Saturday’s opener against Bolton Wanderers…

Whilst the Yeovil defender isn’t the most exciting signing of the summer, he could be a very effective addition.

Firstly, Albion need cover at right-back, where he predominantly plays, but he will also provide them with real versatility.

Capable of playing across the back four and in midfield if necessary, he is the ideal squad player and would be a welcome addition.

Baggies fans would be a lot more excited by Gayle’s arrival and he is exactly what they need.

There is no clinical, proven goalscorer at the club and that’s a major worry for Moore and the fans ahead of the new season, but Gayle would solve that problem.

He guarantees goals at this level and would be a major statement signing ahead of the campaign.

With Newcastle interested in Rondon, you would expect a deal to get done.
